Who are eligible for COVID Booster Dose?

Given the present situation, booster dose will be given only to those registered as frontline workers (FLW) like nurses and doctors along with other healthcare workers (HCW) and senior citizens. But it’s essential to note that they can only get this dose if they had already received the first two shots.

Also, there needs to be a time gap of at least 9 months or 39 weeks after the second dose before a frontline worker or a senior citizen can get the precaution shot. The option for Precaution dose will only be visible to eligible citizens whose last shot was at least nine months back. Consulting a doctor is not necessary for taking the third jab but it is recommended for senior citizens with major health problems.
