BSK DEO Selection Process
As per the WB PAR Memo Number 21-PAR (BSK) / BSK-57/ 2022 Dated 15/03/2023, the State Govt has made an intimation regarding the clear steps for selection in order to Engage the DEO’s in Bangla Sahayata Kendra. The selection process is as follows:
| Step 1 | Written MCQ Test (OMR Based) |
| Step 2 | Practical on-desk Computer Proficiency Test |
1:3 Candidates will be shortlisted for Computer Proficiency Test.
Final Selection Will be based on the Consolidated Marks of Written Test & Computer Practical Test.
1:2 Candidates will be called for documents verification.
Here are some rules for final selection of Data Entry Operators in BSK:

Notes regarding WTL DEO Written Examination Pattern
- The test will be through offline mode i.e OMR based.
- Full marks of the exam will be 100.
- A total of 50 MCQ objective type questions will be asked.
- There will be negative marking – 1 Mark will be deducted for 3 wrong answers.
- The total duration of the MCQ Written Test will be 90 Minutes.
Computer Proficiency Test for Data Entry Operators
Those who will clear the Written Exam, will be shortlisted for Computer Proficiency Test or practical test in 1:3 ratio.
The test will be conducted in each district. Practical knowledge of a candidate related to Computer Operations will be tested through the exam.
MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel are just some of the Windows applications that can be included on the practical exam.
