Chhattisgarh Scholarship 2023: The Social Welfare Department of the state Chhattisgarh gives scholarships to the needy students from SC/ST/OBC and Minority Community of Chhattisgarh, for the betterment of their future. About Chhattisgarh Scholarship 2023 – Last Date for Online Application Form
Every year thousands of students get benefitted from the Scholarship. Almost 87,000/- students have been enrolled under this scholarship till date. The State Government has also increased the CG Scholarship amount to 5-6% as compared to the last year. Shiksha Sahyog Scholarship Scheme provides scholarship to Pre-Matric as well as Post-Matric level students to every six months. The students who have enrolled them under the Shiksha Protsahan Scheme and pursuing Professional Course are also able of getting CG Scholarship 2023.

The Social Welfare Department of Chhattisgarh in association with the State Government has released various scholarships for the poor and needy students of Chhattisgarh. With the help of the CG Scholarship 2023 schemes SC/ST/OBC and minority community students can continue their studies after 10th boards. So all the students in Chhattisgarh and specially girls who had to leave their studies in the middle of the path because of financial hurdles can now continue their higher studies to make a better future.
Eligibility Criteria for Chhattisgarh Scholarship
The candidates who want to apply for scholarship have to fill the Application Form first. To fill the Application Form candidates must check the detail eligibility criteria of the particular scholarship scheme. The application of the ineligible candidates will get rejected by the authority. Eligibility criteria of Different CG Scholarship 2023 are different so it is very necessary to check all the eligibility criteria before fill the application form. Though all the scholarships have one common criterion is that all the candidates must be the permanent resident of the state Chhattisgarh. | Rajya Chatra Vritti Scheme | Only the girl students of SC/ST community studying in class 3 to 5 can apply. Students of SC/ST/OBC community studying in class 6 to 8 can apply. Applicant’s family income should not come under the Income-tax. Applicant’s family’s total land holding must be within 10 acres. |
| Post Matric Scholarship For SC/ST/OBC Students | The students who are belonging to SC/ST community their annual family income should be 2.50 Lakh Rs. Applicants who are from OBC community their annual family income must be within 1 Lakh Rs. Candidates of Post-matriculation level can apply for the scholarship. |
| Kanya Saksharta Protsahan Yojana | This scholarship is only applicable for the girl student. Applicants of class 5&above can apply. |
| Unclean Business Scholarship Scheme | This scholarship is for only the students of class 1-5 Applicants family must belong to the below mentioned occupations to be eligible to apply. Scavenging families Flayer families Tanners Waste Picking/Collecting families There is no annual income limit to the family but the applicant must produce the family’s annual income certificate. |
| Chief Minister Gyan Protsahan Initiative Scheme | Only the meritorious students of class 10th or 12th can apply. The applicants should pursue their studies from the below mentioned Boards. Chhattisgarh Secondary Education Board (CGBSE) Indian Council Secondary Education (ICSE) Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) |
| Disabled Scholarship Scheme | The applicants studying in school, college and in technical course in regular system are eligible. The applicants must belong to the physically disable category and must have 40% or above disability. The applicant’s monthly family income should be within 8,000 Rs. |
| DTE Chhattisgarh Scholarship | The applicants must possess minimum 60% in the 12th boards. The applicant should be qualified from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). |
