About JEXPO Exam 2020

JEXPO is state level examination which is conducted by the West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education & Skill Development. Several candidates seeking admission into renowned polytechnic colleges situated in West Bengal, participate in the examination. Soon after the results are released the authorities will declare the JEXPO 2020 counseling dates.

Key Facts on JEXPO 2020 Counselling

If you have been selected in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd Round Merit List 2020, Note down the facts on JEXPO Counselling –

• The counseling will be conducted on the basis of the ranks secured by each individual in the JEXPO examination.
• As there was no exam this year 2020-21, the authority will prepare the Counselling List based on Ranks prepared through Academic Marks.
• The candidates will have to mandatorily register themselves for the counseling process. The process will be held in 3 rounds.
• Candidates will be able to register for the counseling, from the month of October 2020.
• They will have to fill up the list of colleges and courses they want to apply for in the order of their preference.

Process to check JEXPO 1st Counselling Result online @ webscte.co.in?

1. At first, check the official portal webscte.co.in.
2. Then, open the “JEXPO 2020” portal.
3. Click on the 1st Counselling Result.
4. Download the Result and search by your name or roll number.

3. Counselling Date,

How JEXPO 2020 Counselling will be conducted?

STEP 1: Registration procedure

• Please visit the official website.
• Within the homepage find the section named as “New registration”.
• Click on it. You will be redirected to the registration window.
• There in enter the “index number” and “enrollment number”.
• Double tap on the “proceed” button.
• Edit the personal details and “submit”.
• Click to “confirm” your personal details.
• Create a strong password and “submit”.

Step 2: Student Login through the JEXPO Portal

• Within the homepage find the section named as “student login”.
• Please enter the correct password and “enrollment number” as was created and provided at the time of registration.
• And “login”.

Step 3: JEXPO Choice Filling

• In the home page find the section named as “choice filling”.
• Enter the course and institutions you would like to enroll into according to your preference.
• Make sure to save your choices.
• After carefully filling your choices, click on the “lock” button to freeze the choices you have made in the order of your preference.
• Take a printout of it and keep it safe until require in future.

Step 4: JEXPO Seat Allotment Result

• The seat allotment result will be published any day soon after the completion of choice filling process.
• Candidates can check that up from the official website of the institute.
• However an individual intimation will also be provided to the candidates through a SMS on the individuals’ registered mobile number.
• Rank secured by the candidates, the preferences uploaded by them and vacancy available becomes the deciding factor for seat allocation.

Step 5: Downloading of Allotment Letter

• Candidates will have to download the allotment letter and the money receipt from the website.

Step 6: Reporting

• Candidates will have to carry the documents required for verification to the allotted institute.
• The admission fee is independent of the seat booking fee (Rs. 500) which is submitted by each individual previously.
