Civic Police Eligibility Criteria

Area of Residence	Resident of the area under the Kolkata Police jurisdiction (Not a mandatory criteria)
Age Limit	20 years to 60 years as on 01/01/2024
Minimum Educational Qualification	Class VIII Pass
Criminal Record Status	No criminal record against the applicant should be there
Physical Eligibility Criteria	Candidates must be physically and mentally fit.

Monthly Salary Scale of the Civic Volunteers in West Bengal

The civic volunteers in West Bengal are paid Honorarium at a rate prescribed by the State Government. The salary is time to time revised by the State Govt.

Presently the salary of the Civic Police in West Bengal is Rs. 9,000/-

How to submit Kolkata Police Civic Volunteer Recruitment 2024 Application Form Online / Offline?

You must be aware that there is no online method to apply for the Kolkata Police Civic Volunteer vacancy. The application form for the Kolkata Civil Volunteer Recruitment under KMC is to be submitted offline. The procedure to submit the form is provided below:

1. At first, download the advertisement notification and read the detailed eligibility criteria.
2. Now, print out the Application Form in A4 white page.
3. After that, fill up the application form with Black / Blue ball pen.
4. Attach necessary documents (list given below).
5. Paste photograph in the mentioned space.
6. After that, submit the form personally by hand in the Drop Box kept at the below address:

“Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police,
Central Division,
Kolkata Police at 138,
S. N. Banerjee Road,
Kolkata 700013.”

Please note that the sealed envelope containing the application should be superscribed as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF CIVIC VOLUNTEER”.

Photocopies of Following Documents Should be attached:

1. Identity proof – PAN Card / Passport / Driving License / Voter Card / Bank Passbook / Aadhar Card
2. Address Proof – Voter Card / Aadhaar Card / e-Aadhaar Card with photograph / Passport / Driving
   License / Bank Passbook / Electric Bill / Telephone Bill
3. Age Proof – Birth Certificate / Certificate issued by recognised school / Admit Card of 10th or 12th
4. Self-attested passport-size colour photograph (to be pasted on application form)
5. Self-attested photocopies of educational testimonials and extra-Curricular activities (if
   any)

Kolkata Police Civil Volunteer Merit List 2024:

After the form fill up ends, the authority will select the candidates based on various factors such as Academic Performance, Physical Efficiency Test etc. The candidates will be shortlisted for next round and list of successful candidates will be published by the authority.
