Sanjay Gandhi Biological Park was established by the Bihar government as a Botanical garden on April 13 April 1970 under the governorship of Shri Nityanand Kanoongo. The zoo is spread over 34 acres of Land. This garden is popularly known as Sanjay Gandhi Biological Park.
