Tripura Civil Service Examination 2023 – Selection Process
There are three stages through which a candidate will be selected for TCS Grade & TPS Grade 2:
- Preliminary Exam,
- Main Exam &
- Interview.
Prelims Examination: TPSC Prelims Examination contains only one paper which covers General studies topic. The Prelim Exam paper contains Objective type Questions with a total marks of 200. Time duration for Prelim Exam is 2 hour 30 minutes. For each wrong answer ¼ marks will be deducted from their total score.
Mains Examination: TPSC Mains examination contains 2 papers which provides descriptive type questions. With a time duration of 2 hours 30 minutes. TPSC Mains examination contains a total marks of 300. No negative marking is available.
Interview: TPSC final selection process is done based on the Interview . Candidates are only allowed to sit for Interview if they get qualified in their Mains and Prelims examination. TPSC Interview contains total marks of 100.

Important Instructions About Tripura PSC Civli Service Admit Card
- Before downloading TPSC Admit card , candidates should check every details mentioned in their Admit card for a correction purpose.
- TPSC selection procedure is divided in three stages i.e. Prelims, Mains and Interview.
- Candidates are not allowed to give their Examination without an Admit card. Admit card is one of the important documents for students to carry during their examination along with their id card.
