Eligibility Criteria for UP Vidhwa Pension Yojana

This UP Vidhwa Pension Yojana is not for all the widow women in the State. This is specifically for the poor section of the society. There is some eligibility Criteria which must be checked before applying for the Yojana:

  1. So, first of all this scheme is launched only for the Uttarpradesh States. So, the women of other states are not eligible for this scheme.
  2. The women who will apply for this UP Vidhwa Pension Yojana her age must be between 18 to 60 years. But any widow under this Scheme re-marries then she will not get any privilege and will be removed from this Scheme.
  3. It is important to note that if the widow women have any child or children then they also must come under the Minority Line.
  4. Most importantly the applicant must belong to the below poverty line (BPL).

UP Vidhwa Pension Amount

  • Beneficiary under this UP Vidhwa Pension Yojana will receive three hundred every month, and after the women crosses 80 years of age the amount will be increased to five hundred rupees per month.
  • This amount will be directly transferred to the bank account of the beneficiary.
  • The applicant can only be able to receive the pension when all the information of applicant is verified and will be uploaded on the official site.
  • If the authority gets to know that beneficiary is above the Poverty line or get married again then the authority will eradicate them from this Widow Pension Scheme.

After the successful application of UP Vidhwa Pension Yojana applicants can check their application status by the Login id and Password.

  1. Now to get the Login id and Password applicants need to visit the official website, search for the REGISTRATION link and click on it.
  2. Then enter account number, registration number and the Captcha code and the click on the SUBMIT button.
  3. After submitting the required information successfully applicant will receive a Password. Applicants now change their password according to their choice.
  4. Now applicants can login with their registration id and the password.
  5. After that applicants will find “Know Your Application Status” link. Click on that option to check the application status.
  6. Your current application status will be appeared on the screen.

  1. At first visit the official website  www.sspy-up.gov.in.
  2. Then click on the “Apply Now” option on the homepage.
  3. A new window of “New Entry Form” link will be opened.
  4. Click on that link and new form will be opened in the screen.
  5. Then enter all asked details carefully with true and valid information.
  6. At the bottom a code will be given by the website, you will have to write the application form.
  7. Applicants will receive a registration number after the application form is saved successfully.
  8. Keep the registration number intact for future uses.
  9. Lastly Before submitting the application form re-checks the application form.
