Latest Update on Civic Volunteer Recruitment 2023 – খুব শীঘ্রই রাজ্যের ২৩টি জেলা থেকে প্রচুর পরিমানে সিভিক পুলিশ নিয়োগ বিজ্ঞপ্তি জারি হতে চলেছে। লোকসভা ভোটের আগে এই নিয়োগ প্রক্রিয়া সম্পূর্ণ হবে বলে আশা করা যায়। বর্তমানে রাজ্যে প্রায় ১ লক্ষ্য ২৫ হাজার সিভিক ভলান্টিয়ার রয়েছে। এছাড়াও বিভিন্ন তথ্য অনুযায়ী জানা যাচ্ছে যে সিভিক পুলিশ পদে আবেদন করার সর্বাধিক বয়স বাড়িয়ে ৩৫ করা হতে পারে।

Civic Police to Constable Promotion:

Recently, State Chief Minister Smt. Mamata Banerjee has stated that 10% seat may be reserved for constable post for the Civic Volunteers.

She also said that a new guideline will be prepared to make the civic volunteers job permanent.

WB Civic Police Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Educational Qualification	Class 8 Pass
Upper Age Limit	27 Years
Lower Age Limit	18 Years

You must be at least class 8th Pass to apply for the Civic Police Post.

It is expected that the upper age limit may be extended from 27 Years to 35 Years.

Also, there should not have any criminal record in any police station against the applicant. Moreover, he / she should be physically and mentally fit.
