Civic Police to Constable Promotion:

Recently, State Chief Minister Smt. Mamata Banerjee has stated that 10% seat may be reserved for constable post for the Civic Volunteers.

She also said that a new guideline will be prepared to make the civic volunteers job permanent.

You must be at least class 8th Pass to apply for the Civic Police Post. The education board should be state approved,

It is expected that the upper age limit may be extended from 27 Years to 35 Years.

SC / ST / OBC candidates may get relaxation in upper age limit.

Also, there should not have any criminal record in any police station against the applicant. Moreover, he / she should be physically and mentally fit.
