We all know that a lot of people had lost their jobs due to the Covid-19 pandemic. As a consequence, there is a scarcity of jobs and unemployment has thus been on the rise. Many young people are waiting to get a job.
Keeping this situation in mind, the West Bengal State Government has launched the Employment Bank. The scheme is also called as Yuvashree Prakalpa.
This is a joint venture by the Labour Department and the Information Technology department of the Government of West Bengal.

Purpose of WB Employment Bank Registration:
The main objective of this scheme is to financially assist the youth of the state by helping them to get employed or by providing them a decent stipend.
WB Employment Bank New Beneficiary List 2022
People who want to avail of the scheme can apply for it and people who had already applied can check for their names in the list. With the help of the official government website, there is no need to visit any government office for the same. You can check your name in the list online from wherever you want.
If you are seeking employment and had applied for the scheme then you can now check your name in the Employment Bank New List 2022 which has been recently released. This is done by helping the enrolled jobseekers of the Employment Bank by upgrading their skills. This further helps to make them better suited for a job or for starting up self-employment endeavours. The list can be checked from the official website i.e www.employmentbankwb.gov.in.
Who Are eligible to Apply for WB Employment Bank?
- The candidate applying must not be employed and must be a resident of the state of West Bengal.
- He/she must be enrolled as a ‘job-seeker’ under the Employment Bank.
- He/she should at least have passed the 8th standard.
- The applicant should be between 18-45 years of age on 1st April of the year that they would be considered under the scheme.
- He/she must not have availed any financial assistance or taken any loan regarding employment from the central or state government.
- Only one member of a family is eligible to apply under this scheme.
If you become a beneficiary of the WB Employment Scheme then you would be required to submit a declaration. You would need to submit this every six months, stating that you are utilizing the financial assistance for the right cause. You would also be required to mention the training course(s) you are undergoing to upgrade your skillset. Whether you are still unemployed is also one of the points that you need to ascertain under the declaration. Once fully employed, you stop being a beneficiary of the WB Employment Bank.
Data Required to fill up WB Employment Bank Application Form:
You need to enter the following information during your West Bengal Employment Bank Application Form Fill up:
- Aadhar card, PAN card, and Voter ID card.
- Income certificate.
- Madhyamik and HS mark sheet/ (10+2) mark sheet in case of students belonging from boards other than the state board.
- Bank account details.
How to Register Online at employmentbankwb.gov.in?
- Go to the official website of the WB Employment Bank by clicking on this link – www.employmentbankwb.gov.in.
- Click on “Job Seeker” > “New Enrolment” tab on the homepage.
- A new page will appear with the terms and conditions clearly stated. Go through all the points.
- Click on the checkbox and then click on “Accept and Continue” for the terms and conditions page.
- The New Enrolment form will appear as shown in the below image. Fill it in with all the details as asked for.
- Click on “Submit“. After this, you will receive a message on the registered phone number.
- You will then have to visit the nearest Employment exchange office with all the details.
- You will then receive all the notifications regarding job updates.
The WB Employment Bank is a unique initiative of the Labour Department of the West Bengal Government. This helps the beneficiaries with all the required facilities on a single platform. In return, the enrolled job seekers must utilize the assistance and aspire for quality employment through various competitive examinations. If the beneficiary wants to be self-employed then he/she is required to keep pursuing the same.
যুবশ্রী প্রকল্পে Annexure 1 এবং Annexure 2 ফরম কিভাবে জমা করতে হয়?
যুবশ্রী প্রকল্পের লিস্টে যদি আপনার নাম থাকে তাহলে আপনাকে 30 শে এপ্রিলের মধ্যে Annexure 1 এবং Annexure 2 ফর্ম জমা করতে হবে.
Annexure 1 অনলাইনে ফিলাপ করে প্রিন্ট আউট নিতে হবে এবং Annexure 2 ফর্ম ডাউনলোড করে সেটা পূরণ করতে হবে. এরপর এই দুইটি Form নিয়ে আপনাকে সংশ্লিষ্ট এমপ্লয়মেন্ট এক্সচেঞ্জে গিয়ে সাবমিট করতে হবে.

How to Fill up Yuvashree Annexure 1 Form at www.employmentbankwb.gov.in?
- Go to www.employmentbankwb.gov.in at first,
- Then, click on “Submit Annexure I” or directly Click Here to Fill up.
- Now, enter your “Enrolment Number” and “Password“. If you have forgotten you password, click here to reset.
- Then provide the security code.
- Click on “Submit“.
- Next, update all the required details.
- Finally, take a print out of it.
