What is WBTET Cut Off Marks & Why is it different from Qualifying marks
Cut Off Marks is the minimum marks which will be required to get a chance in the merit list or selection list in the teacher recruitment. The panel list of WB Primary Teacher recruitment 2023 will be prepared based on this cut off marks.

What are the Deciding Factors in WB TET Cut Off Marks?
There are several factors which will decide the cut-off for WB Primary TET:
- Caste of the candidate – For general category, the cut off is on higher side. For ST category, the cut off is low. For other categories, it remains in between the highest and lowest.
- Number of candidates appeared – This year, a huge of candidates have appeared in the exam. So, the cut off marks may be higher this year.
- Toughness Level of the TET 2023 Question Paper – Standard of the question papers asked in the exam will also play a crucial role deciding the cut off. More the tough the question paper is, more the cut off will be.
