Relaxation in Upper Age Limit:
Candidates who belong to SC / ST / BC (Non-Creamy Layer) category and are residents of West Bengal will get the upper age limit relaxation. Also, the Physically Handicapped (PwD) candidates will get relaxation in upper age limit. There is no relaxation for Ex-serviceman category as per the previous year notification WBCS 2022. The relaxation for upper age limit will be as per the table given –

West Bengal Police Service (WBPS) Group B Physical Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have minimum height prescribed by the PSC for the WB Police Service (Group B of WBCS). The physical requirement for the WB Group B Police Service is as follows –

Steps to download WBCS Notification 2024
Once published officially, West Bengal Civil Service Advertisement Notification 2024 can be downloaded through the following steps –
- Go to the WBPSC official website which is www.wbpsc.gov.in.
- Now, click on the Menu > Advertisement / Announcement option.
- After that, click on the “Advertisement” link on the drop down menu.
- Now, Select “WBCS Executive Examination 2024” PDF link from the list.
- Click on the “PDF” icon from there.
- Your WBCS Advertisement Notification will be downloaded in PDF format.
How to fill up WBCS Application Form online?
Register with WBPSC:
Step 1: To register with WBPSC, you need to visit the official website www.wbpsc.gov.in.
Step 2: Now, click on “One time Registration“.
Step 3: Now, a registration form be shown and you need to fill up all the information such as:
- Mobile Number,
- Password,
- Email ID,
- Name,
- Date of Birth,
- Father’s Name,
- Sex,
- Mother’s Name.
Step 4: Now, click on the “Register” button.
Step 5: Note down the Enrolment Number that will be generated after submitting the Registration form.
Login to WBPSC:
Step 1: Go to wbpsc.gov.in again and click on “Login if Already Registered“.
Step 2: Enter your “Enrolment Number” and “Password“. Enter the Captcha Code and click on “Sign in“.
Step 3: Now, choose WBCS 2024 from the list of available examination shown in the dashboard.
Step 4: Enter your educational details and personal details such as:
- 10th Marks,
- 12th Marks,
- College / Graduation Marks,
- Full Address,
- Full Name,
- Age & Date of Birth etc.
Step 5: Upload scanned copy of your Photograph and Signature.
Step 6: Verify all the details and click on the Submit button.
Print the submitted application and keep it safe with you for future use. If there is any mistake in the submitted application, you can edit the application form once within the stipulated time frame which is announced by the PSC.
Please note that you need to keep these information and roll number handy during downloading of your WBCS Admit Card 2024.

Website Not Opening Problem while WBCS Application Form fill up
Many candidates are facing issue of “website not opening” showing the error “Your connection is not private“. This is happening due to the SSL connection problem. To resolve this, follow the method below:
1. If you are using Chrome Browser, then Click on “Advanced” button.
2. Now, click on “Proceed to wbpsc.gov.in (unsafe)“.
3. After that, the WBPSC.gov.in will be opened. You don’t need to do the same next time onwards.
Correction of Error in WBCS 2024 Submitted Form
In case you have submitted incorrect information in your WBCS 2024 Application Form, you can correct the submitted details within a stipulated time frame. For W.B.C.S, the last date for editing an already submitted form will be mentioned in the notification. You can edit some particular information and thereafter submit this form to make correction in the form.

As the notification for WBCS 2024 has not been announced, the exact date of application form fill up is not known yet. However, it is hoped that the Application Form fill up window will be open from January to February 2024.

Hi Shreya, due to various inconveniences faced by the aspirants, WBPSC has extended the last date of application form fill up. Now, you can fill up the form till 5th April. OTP issue should be resolved by 24th March.
