WBJEE stands for West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination. The WBJEE Board will soon release the allocation of seats for the WBJEE exams. The seat allotment would soon be published on the official website of the WBJEEB – The seat allotment for all rounds can be checked through the official portal of the WBJEEB -which is www.wbjeeb.nic.in.

If you are an aspirant, you will need to log in to the official website with your roll number and password to view the allotment of seats. There would be several rounds for the allotment of seats for the WBJEE qualifying students and also for JEE Main aspirants.
WBJEE 1st Round Seat Allotment Result 2023
For the year 2023, seat allotment result will be released for three rounds of WBJEE counselling. For JEE Main students, the allocation of seats would be held in two rounds. Candidates who would be allotted seats need to confirm their seats by ensuring successful payment of the provisional admission fees.
It should be kept in mind that the seats are allocated based primarily on the merit list. It is also done depending upon the availability of seats and the choice of candidates.
The seat allotment result for all rounds can be checked through the official portal of the WBJEEB – that is wbjeeb.nic.in.

WBJEE Seat Allotment Process
Follow this procedure to check the seat allotment for WBJEE:
- First of all, you will need to go to the official website – https://wbjeeb.nic.in.
- Navigate through the homepage till you find the link for the ‘WBJEE seat allotment result’ and then click on it.
- You will then be required to enter your login credentials, that is, your roll number, password, and security pin.
- Check the credentials entered thoroughly. Once you have correctly entered all the details required, click on “Sign In”.
- The seat allotment for the WBJEE 2023 will be shown on your screen.
You can thus check the seat allocation for WBJEE 2023. You will also be able to download the list for provisional seat allotment.
Three options for the Candidates after Seat Allotment
- They can accept and confirm their allotted seat – candidates can do so by paying the fees for seat acceptance and for confirming their seats. They can then download the letter for seat allotment. But one should keep in mind that it is a provisional list and might be verified physically by the institution concerned.
- They can choose to upgrade the allotted seat after accepting the seat – candidates can do so by paying the fees for seat acceptance and for confirming their seat and checking the box for upgradation of the seat allotted. Candidates can then download the provisional letter for seat allotment.
- He/she may choose to do nothing – These candidates would not be granted admission in the current cycle. The seats allotted to these students will then be allotted to those students who have paid the fees and are willing for seat upgradation. If you choose to do nothing, you will be considered for the next cycle depending on the vacancy of seats of that particular cycle.
Students who want to accept the seat allotted to them or apply for upgradation need to pay the confirmation fees. The seat acceptance fees can be paid either in online or offline mode through net banking or debit/credit card.
WBJEE 2nd Round Seat Allotments
If you have not been allotted any seat in the first round then you do not need to worry about this. You will then be eligible to participate in the other two rounds. If there are any vacant seats left after all the rounds of the WBJEE seat allotment then they would be allotted to the ones who are willing to confirm their seats for that particular cycle. These seats may also be provided to the students who are willing to get an upgradation of their accepted seat.
