If you are a part of a scheduled caste, tribe, or any other backward class from West Bengal and do not have any certificate determining the same then follow the procedure below to apply for the certificate:

Step 2: Under the ‘Citizen’s corner’, click on the “Apply SC/ST/OBC” tab.

Step 3: You will be required to provide some necessary information about the yourself. Some of them are –
- The district you belong to,
- your name,
- your father’s name,
- mobile number,
- either Epic number, Aadhar number or Khadya Sathi number,
- Address,
- Date of birth etc.
Fill up all the necessary details in the Application Form correctly.

Step 5: After filling in all the details asked for, click on “Save and Continue“.

Step 6: A page will appear on the screen asking for the applicant’s photograph, proof of citizenship, proof of residence in West Bengal, and so on.

- Then, on the left hand menu, click on “View Certificate” which will redirect you to https://castcertificatewb.gov.in/searchapplication/viewcertificatedetails.
- Now, enter your certificate number or search for the same by entering Old Certificate number and Year of issue & issuing authority or Name & Date of issue.
