WBSSC SLST Examination Pattern 2024
WBSSC selection procedure for State Level Selection Test is divided into three categories such as Prelims, Mains and Interview. Candidates should clear all the stages of SLST Examination in order to be eligible for the service.
WB SSC SLST Prelims Exam Syllabus
SLST Prelims Examination provides only Multiple Choice Question. The time duration will be 2 hours for the Prelims Examination. WBSSC SLST Prelims Examination contains total of 150 marks.
- General knowledge and Current Affairs – 70 marks
- Arithmetic and Mensuration – 40 marks
- English – 40 marks
Total Marks of Prelims will be 150 Marks.
WBSSC SLST Mains Exam Syllabus
SLST Mains Examination provides 3 papers for the Examination. The time duration will be 2 hours in order to complete the Examination. SLST provides 100 marks for each paper. Total of 200 marks.
- English composition and Comprehension – 50 marks
- Language of the Medium of Instructions – 50 marks
- Knowledge of the subjects – 100 marks
Total Marks of Mains will be 200 marks.

Is there any Negative Marking in SLST Exam?
Yes. There is a negative marking scheme in WBSSC SLST Exam. Like other MCQ based exam, 1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in SLST Preliminary Exam.
