West Bengal State Government has uploaded the scanned copies of year wise Old Voter List their official website www.oldelectoralrolls.wb.gov.in. Visit the website and choose your district’s name to download the Scanned copies of the Electoral Rolls.

How to Download WB 1971 Voter List Online PDF?
At first, visit the official portal oldelectoralrolls.wb.gov.in. The site may be slow, so keep patience. After some time, you will see the homepage of the portal.
Now, select the Year for which you want to download the old voter list. You will see following options:
- 1952,
- 1956,
- 1958,
- 1959,
- 1961,
- 1966,
- 1968,
- 1970,
- 1971.
After choosing the Year, click on “Select District“. Choose the district name for which you want to generate electoral roll from the drop down menu.
Then, select the Constituency Name.
After that, click on “Search” button.
The download links of the PDF file of the Scanned copies of Old Voter List will be shown. Click on the respective links to download the Part Wise Electoral Lists.

You can also get a certified copy of Old Electoral List by applying to the Assistant Director, Directorate of State Archives, Dept of Higher Education, Govt of West Bengal.
First Download the Application Form in Bengali / English Language (Link to Download the form is given below):
Now, fill up the form with details such as Year, Name of Assembly Constituency, Part No. / EA No, Ward Number / Road Number / Mouza, Volume No, Serial No in the Voter List in the Electoral Roll, Applicants Name, Signature etc.
Then, attach your ID proof along with the application and send it by post to the address mentioned in the application form.
