There is a waiver of 50% in application fees for applicants belonging to the SC/ST category. The application fee is to be paid to the concerned oil company during registration through demand draft. The selection of eligible dealers is done mainly by drawing lots or by an auction or bidding process. The process depends upon the type of site where the petrol pump outlet is to be set up. Note the important points below:
- Selection of eligible applicants by drawing lots would be available only for Corporation Owned Dealer operated outlets under the Corpus Fund Scheme or CFS. Drawing of lots would also be allowed for Dealer Owned Dealer operated outlets.
- The bidding process of selection would be allowed only for Corporation Owned Dealer operated sites except for Corpus Fund sites where lots are drawn. Although, if there happens to be a tie in the bid amount, lots will be drawn among the bidders who are tied up.
