Maharashtra FYJC 1st Merit List 2024 – Check First Cut Off List & Seat Allotment: The Junior college is an educational institution in the state of Maharashtra. It offers post-secondary education to qualified students who have passed the 10th standard from a recognized institution. FYJC is the short form for First Year Junior College and refers to the 11th standard in Maharashtra. Thus, junior college is where students of Maharashtra complete their 11th and 12th standards.

The FYJC merit list for the year 2024 is yet to be released. It is speculated that the merit list will be published in July 2024. Along with it, the cut-off will also be released. It is to be kept in mind that the cut-off changes every year. This depends solely on the availability of seats for First Year Junior College or FYJC.

FYJC Admission & Merit List Release Schedule 2024-25
The registrations for FYJC started on 30th May 2024. Once the admission process begins in August, the merit list and cut-off will be shortly released. Every year, about four to five merit lists are published depending upon the availability of seats. Junior college allows the students to choose their preferred stream among science, arts, and commerce. The date of merit list release has not been released yet.

Instructions related to Maharashtra 11th Class FYJC Admission 2024 state board students:
- If you are an aspiring FYJC student then you must be aware of the streams and all subjects offered. You will be allowed to choose only one stream.
- Once the seats reserved for top-ranking students are filled, seats reserved for other quotas will be filled.
- You will have innumerable choices for institutions but for college, you will be allowed to pick only from a list of ten. So you are advised to make a wise ad well-informed decision.
- Aspiring FYJC students may switch their major throughout the admission process if they want. However, their seat will be given to another student so they cannot switch back.
The government has established guidance centers in the FYJC regions of Maharashtra. These include Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Amravati, and Nagpur. To date, thirty-nine such guidance centers have been established. Aspiring students are advised by the government to fill out their application/registration forms from these guidance centers or from their homes instead of going to cyber cafes.

Once the Maharashtra board class 10 examination results are declared, eligible students were able to begin their registration process. The form will require students to fill in their personal information along with their preferred stream, career choice, and their preferred junior college. The only eligibility criterion required to apply for FYJC is that the student must have passed the 10th standard from a recognized board and institution in India. Their acceptance will then be dependent upon the merit lists and cut-off for that particular year.
How to Seek Admission in FYJC Science, Arts, Commerce in Maharashtra?
- Students need to collect the information booklet from their respective schools after paying Rs.150. After reading all the guidelines provided, log in to the official FYJC website. Your login id and password will be given in the booklet itself. You will also find the link to the official website in there – https://11thadmission.org.in/ .
- Login using the id and password.
- Fill in all your personal information as the first step of registration.
- After doing this, complete part II and part III registration. Note that you should complete the part II registration only after class 10 results of the Maharashtra board are declared.
- Confirm your ‘Option Form’ and your application/form fill-up will be done.
All you now have to do is wait for the declaration of merit lists and cut-offs and then proceed accordingly.
