The students need to pay some application fees for applying. For Junior students, the fee is RS 100 and for Seniors the fee is RS 200. The student who passed out their 20th class with 75% or above and takes admission for class 11th in the science stream will eligibility to get the benefit of a scholarship. Those who clear the test will get benefited from the scheme. The details of the exam syllabus, pattern, and other important things is available on the official site.
Procedure to submit JBNSTS Scholarship Application Form 2023
- Step 1: At first, the students have to navigate the official site of JBNSTS.
- Step 2: In the next stage, you have to create an account by using your name and mail id.
- Step 3: Once you click on submit option, a password will be generated in your registered mail id.
- Step 4: Through your login ID and password you can see the updated status.
- Step 5: On the home page, look for the scholarship application option.
- Step 6: Fill in all the details required in the form like name, gender, qualification, etc.
- Step 7: Enter your mail id and phone number which are active.
- Step 8: Along with the application form, upload all required documents and scan a photo
- Step 9: Pay the application form fee. Click on the submit button.
Eligibility criteria for JBNSTS Scholarship
There are some eligibility criteria for getting JBNSTS Scholarship. They are as follows:-
- A student who wants a scholarship should be a resident of India.
- Attendance should not be less than 75%.
- The student must bring a minimum of 75% in their 10th examination.
- Those students who are applying for the scholarship must choose the science stream for the 11th class in the school of West Bengal.
- The student having a science stream should have opted for 3 subjects Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Biology, and Mathematics.
Terms and conditions for applying for JBNSTS Scholarship
The applicants have to follow certain terms and conditions for applying for JBNSTS Scholarship. They are listed below:-
- An award for the best school will be there which will be given to the school from where the maximum number of students get selected for the scholarship. This award includes prize money of INR 1000 and also a trophy.
- Details like the date of examination and application form will be published in the state of West Bengal.
- For applying for a scholarship test, the student must have to pay an examination fee of INR 100.
- All the education documents
- uploaded to the official portal should not be more than 1 MB.
- The size of the uploaded photograph should be a width of 160 X height of 190 pixels.
- The size of the uploaded signature should be 160 X height of 100 pixels.
