West Bengal Medhashree Scholarship Scheme has been launched by Chief Minister Smt. Mamata Banerjee. On 19th January 2023, CM announced the launching of new scholarship for the underprivileged students of West Bengal.

Medhashree Scholarship has been launched by Smt. Mamata Banerjee when she was addressing people in Hasimara, Alipurduar.

Eligibility Criteria of Medhashree Scholarship – মেধাশ্রী স্কলারশিপ এর জন্য কি কি যোগ্যতা দরকার?

কি এই মেধাশ্রী প্রকল্প?
পশ্চিমবঙ্গের মাননীয়া মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা ব্যানার্জি ১৯ জানুয়ারি তারিখে একটি নতুন প্রকল্পের ঘোষণা করেছেন। এই প্রকল্পের নাম মেধাশ্রী প্রকল্প। অনগ্রসর শ্রেণির পড়ুয়াদের কথা ভেবেই মেধাশ্রী প্রকল্পের সূচনা করেছে পশ্চিমবঙ্গের সরকার।
কারা মেধাশ্রী স্কলারশিপ পাবে?
মেধশ্রী স্কলারশিপ পশ্চিমবঙ্গের সরকারি/সরকারি সাহায্যপ্রাপ্ত স্কুলগুলিতে পঞ্চম থেকে অষ্টম শ্রেণীতে অধ্যয়নরত অন্যান্য অনগ্রসর শ্রেণীর সম্প্রদায়ের (ও.বি.সি) ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের প্রদান করা হবে।
এই প্রকল্পের মাধ্যমে প্রায় প্রায় ২ লক্ষ ৬৩ হাজার পড়ুয়া স্কলার্শিপ এর টাকা পাবে।
মেধাশ্রী প্রকল্প অনুযায়ী কত টাকা পাওয়া যাবে?
মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর ঘোষণা অনুসারে প্রতি মাসে ৮০০ টাকা করে পাওয়া যাবে।
মেধাশ্রী প্রকল্পে আবেদন করার জন্য কি কি ডকুমেন্ট লাগবে?
কোন ছাত্র-ছাত্রী যদি মেধা শ্রী প্রকল্পের আবেদন করতে চান তাহলে তাদেরকে এই ডকুমেন্টগুলো জমা করতে হবে অথবা সাথে রাখতে হবে:
- ওবিসি শংসাপত্র
- পরীক্ষার মার্কশিট
- রেসিডেন্সিয়াল সার্টিফিকেট
- আধার কার্ড
- ব্যাঙ্ক অ্যাকাউন্ট নম্বর
- কালার ছবি
মেধাশ্রী প্রকল্পের জন্য কিভাবে আবেদন করতে হবে?
মেধা শ্রী প্রকল্পের জন্য স্কুল থেকে আবেদন করতে হবে। ছাত্র-ছাত্রীরা নিজের আবেদন করতে পারবে না। তাদের স্কুল থেকেই অনলাইনে মেধাশ্রী এবং শিক্ষাশ্রী পোর্টাল এর মাধ্যমে আবেদন করে দেওয়া হবে।
মেধা শ্রী প্রকল্পের আবেদন করার জন্য ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের কাছ থেকে কিছু গুরুত্বপূর্ণ তথ্য এবং সার্টিফিকেট চাওয়া হতে পারে।
ছাত্রছাত্রীদেরকে এই তথ্যগুলি খুব তাড়াতাড়ি দিয়ে দিতে হবে তাদের স্কুল কর্তৃপক্ষকে যাতে তারা মেধা শ্রী প্রকল্পের জন্য আবেদন করতে পারে।
যদি একজন ছাত্র বা ছাত্রী ফেল করে একটি ক্লাসে তাহলে কি মেধাশ্রী স্কলারশিপ পাওয়া যাবে?
যেকোনো ক্লাসে পড়ার জন্য মেধাশ্রী স্কলারশিপ পাওয়া যাবে মাত্র এক বছরের জন্য। যদি একজন শিক্ষার্থীকে একটি ক্লাস পুনরাবৃত্তি করতে হয়, তবে সে একাধিক বছরের জন্য সেই ক্লাসের জন্য বৃত্তি পাবে না। যদি পরবর্তীতে তাকে পরবর্তী শ্রেণীতে উন্নীত করা হয় তবে সে সুবিধা ভোগ করবে।
How to Fill up Medhashree Scholarship Application Form?
Application Form for Medhashree Scholarship Scheme for OBC Students must be filled up by the institution before the last date.
For this, the institution need to apply and submit their student’s details on the Shikashree Portal. Here are the steps to fill up Medhashree Scholarship Online Form:
- Visit the Shikashree & Medhashree Portal Website – http://202.66.172.169/
- Then Choose – User Type, District Name, Sub-Division, Block / Municipality, School Name and enter User ID & Password to login.
- Next, click on “Fresh Application” as shown below:
- Now, Enter the following information – Name of the Applicant, Father’s Name, Address, District, Gender, Caste, Date of Birth, Applicant Sub-Category, Student Code, Caste / Tribe / OBC Certificate No., Annual Family Income, Aadhar Number, Mobile, Aadhar Seeding Status with Bank, Last Class Passed, Year of Last Class passing, Applicant type, Bank Name, IFSC, Branch Address etc. Then click on “Submit” button.
This way, Medhashree Scholarship Application Form can be filled up by Schools on behalf of a student.
Medhashree Scholarship Application Status Check Online
The Application Status can be checked by teachers on the Shikshashree Portal by logging in. To do this, follow the steps:
- Go to the Shikshashree Portal or Click Here.
- Now, enter your User ID, Password and Security code.
- On the dashboard, click “Track Application Status“.
- Now, select the name of student for whom you want to check the application status.
- In the next page, the status of your Medhashree Application can be checked.
