Eligibility Criteria for Admission in Ramakrishna Mission School
Admission in Class 11:
Students must have passed Madhyamik or Class 10th Examination from a recognized board. The minimum marks criteria is given below:

About Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith
Ramakrishna Mission is an organization that was founded in May 1897 by the great monk and philosopher, Swami Vivekananda. It is a religious and spiritual organization that was formed with the main motive of encouraging spiritual studies, education, and charity. Ramakrishna Mission School for boys was established with the same visions in mind. It is a group of residential schools for boys with several branches in India.

Process of Admission in Ramakrisha Mission Vidyapith:
The admission to classes 5 and 11 is granted solely based on merit as judged from the admission test. After the admission test, an interview round is also held and the qualifying students get admission. For class 5, the admission form is distributed in November while it’s March-April for students of class 11. One can submit the form either offline or online. The selection process is given below:
- Admission Test will be conducted in the first step.
- Then, Students who will be selected in the Admission Test would be called to the concerned school for an interview.
- The merit list would be published online and also in the school concerned. If your name is on the merit list, you can pay the admission fees and confirm your admission.
Eligibility Criteria for Admission in Ramakrishna Mission
- Students taking admission in class 5 must have scored at least 60% in Hindi/Bengali and 70% in Mathematics in their last annual examination. They should also be 10-11 years old on 1st January of the year for which they are applying for admission.
- Students applying for admission in class 11 need to have at least 95% in the science group and 75% in the language group. They should also be at least 16 years old on 1st January of the year in which they are applying for admission.
Ramakrishna Mission Admission Test Pattern
- For class 5, there would be 3 papers – Bengali / Hindi, English, and Mathematics of 50 marks each with a time limit of 45 minutes for each paper.
- For class 11, the admission test will be of 3 hours based on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The total marks are 150 and each subject will have 50 marks.

- Marksheet of Class X Test

How to fill up online form for Ramakrishna Mission School Admission?
The procedure for application is as follows:
- First of all, go to the official website of the respective Ramakrishna Vidyapith branch.
- Click on the ‘Admission’ tab. A drop-down menu appears. You can view the prospectus or syllabus from here.
- From the drop-down menu, click on “Online Admission 2024” for class V or XII as required.
- From the page that appears, click on the ‘Online Apply for Admission’ option. A page will appear with the online application form for the standard selected.
- Fill in the necessary information and click on the ‘Check Your Eligibility’ button.
- You can proceed with the application form only if you are eligible. Fill in the rest of the form with your personal information. Then upload the necessary documents according to the file type and file size mentioned.
- After all the steps mentioned above are done, click on ‘Submit’ and your application for admission will be submitted.
