West Bengal Rupashree Prakalpa Form 2024 Online Application Link & Check Status – WB Rupashree Prakalpa is a social security scheme launched by WB Govt for the residents of the state. Under this scheme, the financially weaker families of the state of West Bengal would be able to get a one-time financial aid of Rs. 25,000 during their daughter’s marriage. The main objective is to help economically backward families and empower the concerned women. People belonging to any district of West Bengal can apply for this scheme and enjoy the benefits. However, several criteria need to be fulfilled to be eligible for this scheme.
Eligibility Criteria of the WB Rupashree Prakalpa Scheme
The eligibility criteria for Rupashree Prakalpa are:
- Applicant must be a resident of West Bengal or must be living in the state for the last five years. The applicant will also be deemed eligible if their parents are permanent residents of West Bengal.
- The applicant must be at least 18 years old or more.
- The groom’s age must be at least 21 years.
- No minimum educational qualification is necessary.
- The total family income of the applicant must not exceed Rs. 1,50,000 per year.

Documents required to apply for the scheme
- Age proof (birth certificate, madhyamik admit card, Voter ID card, PAN card, Aadhar card)
- Residential certificate (self-declared)
- Proof of marriage proposal (marriage invitation card/ registration for marriage)
- Age proof of the future groom (birth certificate, madhyamik admit card, Voter ID card, PAN card, Aadhar card)
- Voter ID and Aadhar card of the applicant
- Family income proof.
- Bank account details (self-attested photocopy of bank’s passbook mentioning account holder’s name, account number, bank branch, bank address, IFSC code, and other such details)
- Coloured passport size photograph of the applicant and the future groom.
How to submit Rupashree Prakalpa Form?
First of all, the application process is completely offline. You need to download the Offline Application Form and then fill up each and every details carefully. After that, the filled up application form along with the necessary documents need to be submitted to the Block Development Officer (BDO) or the Sub-divisional Officer’s (SDO) office.
Please note that, the offline form can also be submitted to the Panchayat or the office of the Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation under the address of the applicant. The Rupashree Prokolpo form along with the documents and certificates must be submitted at least after 30 days and by 60 days before the date of the wedding is planned.
রূপশ্রী প্রকল্পের আবেদন পত্র জমা দেওয়ার পর কি ভাবে টাকা আসবে?
প্রতিটি আবেদন সরকারের একজন তদন্ত কর্মকর্তার কাছে পৌঁছাবে যিনি যাচাই করে প্রতিবেদন জমা দেবেন। BDO/SDO/কমিশনার সফলভাবে যাচাইকৃত আবেদনগুলি অনুমোদন করবেন। একটি নেতিবাচক প্রতিবেদন সহ আবেদন বা যোগ্যতার মানদণ্ড পূরণ করে না এমন আবেদনগুলি প্রত্যাখ্যান করা হবে।
এর পরে, একজন কর্মকর্তা তহবিলের প্রাপ্যতার ভিত্তিতে আবেদনকারীর ব্যাঙ্ক অ্যাকাউন্টে অনুমোদিত অনুদান স্থানান্তর করবেন। বিবাহের পরিকল্পিত তারিখের কমপক্ষে পাঁচ দিন আগে, তহবিল স্থানান্তর করা হবে।
আবেদনটি সফলভাবে যাচাই করা হয়েছে এবং সমস্ত প্রয়োজনীয় যোগ্যতার মানদণ্ড পূরণ করা হয়েছে বলে পরিমাণটি জমা করা হবে। অনুগ্রহ করে নোট করুন যে পরিমাণ টাকা। সরকারি তহবিল পাওয়া গেলে আবেদনকারীর ব্যাঙ্কে 25,000 জমা করা হবে।
How to check Rupashree Prakalpa Status
You can check your Rupashree Prakalpa Application Status online through Applicant ID. The Application Form can be tracked by entering the application id with the official website www.wbrupashree.gov.in.
To check the status of the disbursement and application, visit the government office wherein you submitted the application form. For checking the status online, simply click on this link – https://wbrupashree.gov.in/admin/searchapplicant_public/Search_by_applicant_id/ and follow the steps –
- After that, enter the Rupashree ID number.
- Then choose the year of application.
- Finally, click on the submit button.
Till date, several families get their daughters(s) married before the legal marriageable age set by the government. By setting the criterion of age limit being at least 18 of the future bride, the scheme also aims to abolish child marriage. Thus, the Rupashree Prakalpa or the Rupashree scheme also helps to prevent child marriage.
