WB Agriculture Assistant Director Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Bachelors degree in Agriculture with 4 years degree course from a recognized board / institution is the Minimum Educational Qualification.
Also, Knowledge of Agricultural condition in West Bengal is required for the posts.
Age Limit:
The upper age limit for unreserved candidates will be 36 years as on 01/01/2023. The upper age limit will be relaxed for reserved candidates as per following rules:

PSC Agriculture Assistant Director Salary Scale
| Basic Salary Scale | Rs. 56,100/- to Rs. 1,44,300/- |
| Pay Level | 16 as per ROPA 2019 |
This pay scale is based on 6th Pay Commission. As per ROPA 2019, the scale has changed. New basic salary can be known after the Detailed Advertisement is out.
Along with the Basic Salary, the eligible recruited candidates will get DA, HRA, MA etc.
Gross pay will be around Rs. 65,000/- to Rs. 70,000/-
PF and other taxes will be deducted from the Gross Salary. Therefore, the starting in hand salary will be approximately 60 to 65 thousand INR.

Selection Process
Selection of candidates will be done through a Screening Test tentatively and personality test or Interview.
