Appearing in SM Audition is many KPOP enthusiasts dream. If you are dreaming to be a KPOP idol in Dancing, Singing, Raping or acting category, then you may approach the SM Casting Officials for audition.
Eligibility Criteria:
For SM Town – There is no minimum age criteria.
For SM Entertainment – Anyone who was born from 2004 to 2012 are eligible to apply. However, for participants younger than 14 years, the legal representative must fill out the consent form and attach it along with the audition application.
Any nationals can apply for the audition round.
SM Global Audition
Online Applications for SM Global Audition is accepted for the Vocal, Dance, Rap and Acting categories only.
The interested participants must register online through the official website. To do this, you need to submit your Name, Date of birth, Email, Telephone, City of Participation.
You also need to upload your face shot photograph without any filter or edit. Furthermore, your performance video is also required to be uploaded which should be of more than one minute duration.

In Which Dates The Audition will be held
For the month of September, the SM Global Monthly audition schedule is released. The audition will be held in following dates:

SM Monthly Audition
Monthly Audition is held on Last Saturday of Every Month at 18:00 PST. Candidates must Pre-Register for the SM Monthly Audition through the link published on Instagram story @ smcasting_official.
A Confirmation mail will be send on the Last Friday of the month. Thereafter, One to One zoom Meeting with the participant will be held.
SMTown Audition
SM Town Audition is held monthly and weekly. For talents in Thailand, there is a 24×7 Audition option which can be availed through LINE app.
For this, you must download the LINE app and follow the instruction as given by the SMtown Auditioning Authority.

To Apply Online for the Audition Process in SM Global and SM Town, follow the steps:
- Go to the official website of any of the SM Entertainment companies website.
- Now, open the “Audition” page.
- After that, choose the Online Apply Link as shown in the image below:
- Then, a blank e-application form will appear on the screen. Fill up all the details and click on “Apply” button.

- Your photos should be uploaded in JPG or GIF Format. No photoshopped images will be eligible.
