The WB Public Service Commission has announced the Mains Exam Date on 12th March 2023. Exam will be held on 20th, 21st, 22nd & 24th May 2023. Those who have qualified the written test, can appear in the Main Exam after downloading the Admit Card.
As per the WBCS Mains 2021 (Advt Number 18/2020) Exam Date Notification, the exam will commence from 20th March 2023 and will end on 24th May 2023. The Examination will be of conducted on 4 different dates in two sessions which are –
Forenoon Session – From 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon,
Afternoon Session – From 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
There will be 6 Compulsory papers and 2 optional papers.

Also, candidates are advised not to bring Smart Watch, Mobile phone and other electronic devices during the exam. Wearing of Face Mask is mandatory at the exam hall.
